1960 Corvette

I am selling my 1960 Corvette with a 283 and 2 speed automatic, uns down the road straight as an arrow. Rust in frame. I have purchased a second frame that has been upgraded with a Mustang II Front End and a Ford Rear End with a 4 link. These have only been tack-welded into place and need finished. These could easily be removed to use as a stock frame or as a patch for the original. You could swap it out so that you have disc brakes, ack and pinion steering and a better handling ride. Car looks great from 20 feet away, p close you can see some cracks and that it needs body work and paint. It has usual pitting on old chrome and bumpers. I purchased this car two years ago and paid $33,000 and another $3,000 for the second frame. My Loss, our gain. Bob from California is a liar but I am not. So it comes with a "Bob is a Thief but I am not Guarantee." If you are not satisfied you do not pay. Because of this I am only able to offer you local pick up only. You will need to inspect it before you begin bidding. Once accepted you will own it. The Vette is located 3 hours West of Chicago and 1/2 hour North of Davenport Iowa. Obviously I did not travel to California to inspect and was disappointed for the price I paid. I feel that the low reserve I have set is a fair price for the vehicle especially with the new frame. I was asked to describe the chrome better.If I was keeping the car as a daily the driver both left and right window post would be replaced as well as small light housings for rear license plate.They are really pitted.Back bumpers would be on my wish list as they are spider webbed.Front chrome is presentable except for headlight bezels.Spinners on hubcaps are above average. Horn button is pitted and needs to replaced.
