This is a 1984 GMC Caballero the twin to the Chevy El Camino. I bought it a few months ago from a dealer that found it in a estate sale. It sat almost unused for 15 years due to the owners health. The family kept it running in hopes it would return to the road. They put in a fresh battery & gas. I changed the oil & put on new tires and have been driving it as is. I have all the parts to do the brake, caliper, front hose, pad, rear shoes & wheel cylinders. Plus the parts for a tune-up, ist. cap, otor, lug wires but it ran so good I never got around to doing it. The parts will go with the truck to the next owner. It This is a good truck for 30 years old & 87,000 miles. Will make a great restoration project or great old original driver for the handyman in your family. Thats why I bought it.Then I found a older restored Sprint / Caballero that I like better. I can't keep both. Must Sell . This one will need paintin, nd some other work to be really nice. But everything is ther, ll original & untouche, perfect for a restoration. What I know aboutit is ithas a oil lea, I thinkits thevalve covers but not sure. The Air Cond. leaks .I charged it up when I got and it cooled for 6 to 8 weeks and now needs recharging. Its gray on the outsideor ta, aded so bad I can't be sure with some surface rust on the hood & top and a spot by the passanger window. Its lookd like it was parked outside under a tree or something leaked on it . There are a couple of dings in the tail gate & 1 or 2 old man vs garage door dings. The inside is brown with very little wear but does have two cracks in the dash board pad ( they all do ) and will need a head liner soon. The dimmer switch sticks on high bea, 'll include a new one with the truck. With a little TLC this would be a great little truck. I need to sell i, his listing could end at any time because I have a local listing too. May be interested in a trade 60's or 70's Chev, Pontiac & Ford nothing else please. If your interested let me know & thanks for looking.
