Car description

Here is a 1957 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop that has been in dry storage since 1982 and in overall great condition. It was owned by the previous owner since 1978. It is a running and driving car with a good running 1965 Model 327 engine with double hump heads. It still has the original powerglide transmission that shifts good. Overall this 57 Chevy is in amazing condition. It is a great car to do a full restoration on or you can drive and enjoy it as it sits. It just recently had new brake hoses and lines put on so brakes work good. It's painted Red with Red interior. The car has been painted probably 25 years or so and though the paint has held up very well it is showing it's age. The interior seats are in good condition as far as not being torn up or ripped. The headliner looks great as does the carpet, ash and door panels. The steering wheel is still in good condition. Other than the front and rear bumpers all the chrome trim on the car looks good. I am assuming most of the trim was bought back in the early 80's when the car was parked. The bumpers needs replacing or re-chromed. The trunk is super solid, ven the spare tire holder. The floor pans are solid as well as the rockers, ocker boxes and braces with rust not being an issue. There is rust bubbles on bottom of both doors but no other rust that I have seen anywhere. Car is really in amazing condition. The tires are a little dry rotted from sitting so long but have good tread. I do not know the miles on car or engine as the speedo does not work. The gas gauge does appear to be working. I can answer any questions you have by calling Ken at 404-512-1295. I have probably 70 pics of this car that if anyone wants to look at them just let me know. You really need to see this 57 to appreciate the overall condition it is in. I think I have a good price for a 57 Chevy Hardtop in condition. This car is also For Sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. As always Pre Sale inspections are welcomed and encouraged so you will know exactly what you are bidding on but must be done BEFORE END OF AUCTION!! If you bid and meet reserve and are high bidder at end of auction then you have bought it. Please understand this. This 57 Chevy is being sold with a current Georgia registration as Georgia WILL NOT issue an actual title on any vehicle older than 1962. You will be able to get a title in your state with the paperwork I give you so don't worry about this. Any questions you have please ask. I can arrange shipping for you at your expense if you would like. Thanks for looking
