Cool 1964 Southern Caddy Deville Kustom79k, 29 V8. Options include airconditioning, ruise control, ix way power bench seat, ower windows, ower brakes and power steering. Cadillacs from this era are steadily climbing in value, specially the 1963 and 1964 body styles. This is from Hagerty.com:"Cadillac continued to list its premium Series 62 hardtops as "de Ville" models through 1964. Smoothly unadorned flanks gave the 1963 editions a fresh infusion of what chief designer Chuck Jordan called "the grace and spirit" of all great Cadillacs. Along with exterior refinements for 1964, new 340-hp 429-cid engine replaced the 390-cid variants of 1959-63, nd the Turbo-Hydramatic was introduced. With the exception of the universally cherished '59s, e Villes of this era are relatively affordable today. As period Cadillac convertible values climb with the speed of an Atlas rocket, ny top-notch hardtop or convertible DeVille looks all the more appealing today."Mechanical:the Caddy has always had regular maintenance have been performed on schedule. I bought the Caddy from Kentucky. I was told the 79k on the odometer is original, y mechanic thinks it is genuine as well. The engine was rebuilt in the mid 90's, nder 10k on motor. Recent work includes extensive front end work, rake system completely gone through (including upgrading to dual chamber master cylinder), new radiator and water pump, ebuilt carburetor, ual exhaust, ull tuneup and new belts and hoses. The power windows work perfectly, ll the motors were replaced. The lights work, he heater works, he radio works when you turn in on and off a few times, he power antenna works and the power seat works but the switch needs replacing, new switch included. Clock does not work, as gauge can be finicky, trumpet" horn works. The a/c compressor is connected and will turn on but does not blow cold and the cruise control is not working. No leaks from anywhere, arage floor always dry when I pull her out.Cosmetic: The previous owner was going for a kustom look so the Caddy wears flat black paint. It looks great with the "smoothie" hubcaps and low profile tires. I have the original Cadillac wheels, ubcaps and decent tires, an replace upon request. The interior is the nicest part of this car; headliner, oor panels, arpet and seats were re-upholstered, ll matched to factory color and style. All materials are new and soft to the touch and the seats are comfortable with new springs and padding. The chrome is original and in ok condition where not painted over. The front bumper ends were repaired but will need redoing or replacing, was planning to remove them. Thepassenger front fender behind the wheel has some old bodywork that will need attention as well as some other areas. The floors, rame and trunk are solid, ever needing repair. Overall she's very straight as you can see in the pix, ll the door close easily as well as the trunk and hood. The Caddy starts right up even after sitting and the engine has a nice rumble through the dual exhaust. Runs very strong, he 428 V8 is nice and powerful and the car brakes evenly, o pulling or fading. She idles evenly, emperature needle never varies, hifts smoothly, racks straight and stops easily. Drive the Caddy as is or bring her back to stock, othing has been altered to prevent restoration. A very dependable, ool old cruiser that's fun to take to car shows and can be used as a daily driver.I reserve the right to end the auction early as the Caddy is for sale locally and I'm open to reasonable buy it now offers as well.I can assist with shipping in the USA or internationally if necessary, ost of shipping to paid by buyer. I can recommend a door to door auto shipper I've used in the past; they're professional, eliable and have great rates.Cool old Caddy up for auction with NO RESERVE, op bidder gets her.Any questions feel free to email or call nine one four, 24, hree two three zero.
