This is a 1931 Lasalle Fleetwood bodied 7 passenger Touring Car. Only 59 built in 1931 and 0ne of only 4 known to still exist. Body style 4657, ody Number 16. This open car is a very desirable car with four doors and two jump seats raising from the floor. The restoration was started in the late 1990's with new chassis wood, ll metal work done, ody primed and painted silver with black fenders. The body does have some minor scratches do to storing and moving over the years since it was painted. The previous owner spent over $12,000 on chroming the hardware at that time and the parts are all wrapped and laying in crates inside the car. The shocks were removed, ebuilt and painted and are in crates as well. The engine is a 1931 Lasalle engine but not the original engine. It is not running at this time. The car has a second windshield made by Don Summers for over $6000, hich is for the back seat and is in its shipping crate. I have gone to great extents to find and add any missing parts. Will need reupholstering, iring and reassembling. I have quite an extensive knowledge and supply of parts for cars of this age and type and I bought this car to finish the restoration but at 61 years of age with three other cars projects and two antique boat restorations in front of this one, eality has set in and I've decided to pass it on. This is a very desirable and valuable car which I would like to go to someone wanting to restore it, ot rod it! This car has a clear Colorado title.Deposit of $1,000 within 24 hours of winning bid payable through paypal. Remaining payment is by cash when picking up the vehicle.
