Car description |
---|
She purred like a kitten when I parked her several years ago due to the high price of premium gas. The power brakes steering radio antenna odometer power seats and windows lights and blinkersall worked at that time. The AC and the clock did not. I have spent thousand of dollars on her because I don't know how to do the work myself. But she ran great and rode like a dream. (New springs).
She was painted pink in an older restoration (prior to me). They used incorrect screws which started the rust. But her chrome is straight and smooth. Her cloth and carpet interior will need attention. I am told she has a 429 engine with an 'after market' Edelbrock (sp?) carburetor but don't know how to verify nor can I verify the mileage. I have her hubcaps in the trunk and a copy of a '64 service manual. Why? I don't know. She has been my therapy (who can have a bad day when driving a pink Cadillac?) for over 10 years. She was a parade car and prom car for my kids. But now she needs some TLC and a new home.
Please forward your questions. I am not an antique nor car expert. I just love her. I DO knowshe is not a Mary Kay car nor is she a convertible. I'll help in anyway so you can make aninformed buying decision.
