1974 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. Bought ten years ago to keep at beach house and use in summer. Since selling said house it has been driven infrequently. Garage kept but I made the mistake ofstoring it one year where it was invaded by mice. Hence the need for new trunk and hood liners. All mechanics are sound and lately it has been driven daily. Roof is in almost perfectly new condition and operates perfectly. Has paint matched fiberglass cover for top when down. Alpine stereo with CD is mounted on floor as not to ruin original dash. Original 8-track still works as does power antenna. Previous owner changed paint color and it is evident on door and trunk interiors. The only evident rust is two tiny patches on the lip of the trunk. Any plastic body parts that dried out and cracked with time have been replaced and paint matched. Some of themetallic trim is missing and the car comes with the replacement trim. I just don't have the talent to replace it properly. The only major flaw in the vehicle beyond the paint is the fact that the rear bumper is slightly out of alignment. I discovered this while replacing all the rear skirts. As car was never in an accident before Ibought it or with me in it I can only assume that some jerk hit it when parked. It is impossible to notice more than a few feet away. I only became aware of it when the left taillight skirt refused to seat perfectly. I am sure any competent body shop could rectify this easily. I just don't have one anywhere near me. The right hand door has a slight rattle but considering theabysmal road conditions here in Vermont I doubt anyone in a more civilized place will hear it at all. I have included photos from every angle warts and all. I can add more if needed. This is a good car that needs more love than I can give it. Sitting in a garage is killing it.Car must be picked up by buyer in exchange for a certified bank check. Original title was lost in house fire but because of year is not needed. Current registration and bill of sale will suffice for sale.Car is located in southern Vermont.
