1989 Cadillac Allante 82,080 Miles From New 4.5L V8 / 4spd Automatic Metallic White on Tan Leather Removable Hardtop, Soft Top Over Twenty Years Owned Clean CarFax, Consistent Mileage Increments VIDEO WITH LISTING VIN: 1G6VR3182KU101136 Exterior: Please take a look through the photos and video, as the car is documented in detail. Paint is the excellent Cadillac White Metallic Tri-Coat, which has a pearl-like finish to it. The white contrasts beautifully with the tan leather interior. Paint presents very well. Blemishes include chips scattered about the lower front end, a few parking lot dings on the lower doors, and a touched-up scratch down at the bottom corner of the driver’s rear quarter. Overall very clean cosmetically, and definitely impressive condition for an 82k-mile car. This car has clearly been responsibly owned, kept, and driven. Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free with the exception of a crack at the upper driver corner of the windshield, not visible from the driver’s line of sight. Lights and signals are all functional. Wheels are free of any curb rash, tires are in nice shape but are about ten years old. Rockers are nice and clean, with no bubbling, scuffs, etc. Hardtop is easily removed with four by-hand levers, black soft top is in excellent shape. No punctures, scuffs, etc. Interior: Again, please defer to the photos and video. Interior looks really good. Leather is still nice and plush and has a rich tan color to it. Original tan carpeting is very nice, not sunbleached or discolored, not fraying or well-worn. Impressive shape. Original floormats will come with the car as well and are in good not great shape. Minor age, as to be expected. Dash top looks great. Digital dash display is very cool and fully functional, but the info center screen just above the radio is half blacked out. That is the screen that shows exterior temperature and date, and half the date is blacked out. Regardless, gauges/cluster are all good, buttons are all functional. Radio is functional but doesn’t get as loud as it should for whatever reason, heat and fan are good, AC compressor kicks on but does not blow cold. All interior lights, cruise, wipers and sprayers, power mirrors, windows, and locks are all functional. Center console is nice and clean, no more than a couple light signs of age. There is a light that stays illuminated on the dash to be aware of, “engine control system faultâ€, which a quick Google search seems to point to a faulty cam sensor. Underbody/Under the Hood: Please take a look at the underbody photos, as the car is documented in detail. Underbody is in phenomenal shape. No through rust or damage whatsoever. The underbody of this car goes to show how well-kept it has been. This car spent the first ten years of its life in Connecticut and North Carolina, then moved to Illinois in 1998. Clearly always garage kept. Being an ‘89, this car is from the first year of 4.5L LW2 V8 equipped Allante production, having graduated from the HT4100 Allantes of ‘87-88. This car runs and drives very well, despite the ECS fault light. Feels excellent on the road. Ride quality is outstanding, the car moves smooth and effortlessly. It feels nice and solid, cruises along in silence, tracks straight, and brakes straight and effectively. Use and enjoy as-is.
