1979 Cadillac Seville. This car can best described as a nice clean survivor. This car was purchased 6 years ago as a collectible and weekend driver and has been stored indoors since. It is gray metallic paint with a gray vinyl top and blue leather interior. This Cadillac always starts easily, idles smoothly and the transmission shifts properly. The brakes function properly. The car has always been maintained very well and most recently has had the exhaust system replaced from the catalytic converter back. This car has most of the typical options of the time. Including dual power front seats, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, cruise control, power windows, power door locks, climate control, wire wheel covers, AM/FM with CB radio, vinyl top and opera lights. All options work on the car with the exception of the climate control. The air compressor does cycle but does not cool as it should. When I purchased this car the air conditioning cooled properly. Now it does not. The air conditioning should be recharged but it has never been converted from R12. The best would be to convert the A/C to R134A and properly charge the system. I believe that will correct the cooling issue. The car has been in storage for the last 4 years or so. This Cadillac is extremely solid and rust free as seen in the photos. The car was repainted many years ago and before I purchased the car. The paint still has a nice shine with only minor scratches here and there. There is one area where some surface rust is apparent under the right side sail panel and under the vinyl top molding as seen in the photos. The chrome is way above average with no major pits or blemishes. The interior is also very nice. The steering wheel and dash has cracks that appears to be typical to find on these models. The passenger seat also has some cracks at the seams. The carpet and headliner are fine as well as the door panels. There are (4) matched Regul Questa P215/75R15 radial tires with deep tread. The wire wheel covers are all very nice with only minor dings or scratches to the edges. This Cadillac is in no way a show car. It is however an excellent weekend fun car or a perfect candidate for a restoration. The odometer reading is 71,649 and there is a proper, clear Pennsylvania title. I encourage any seriously interested parties to come and inspect the car for themselves. It is located in Windsor, Pa. which is just outside of York and convenient to Lancaster, Harrisburg and Baltimore Maryland. This car is being sold as-is with no warranty whatsoever.
