Up for auction is possibly the finest example and most legitimate 1964 Cadillac Fleetwood in captivity and on the market today. This beautiful piece of American luxury history has only 16,594 documented actual miles and is truly an all original show car. She was originally sold new at Frank Kent Cadillac of Fort Worth TX. She spent most of her life garaged in a climate-controlled environment in Texas until 2014 when luckily a Grand Island Nebraska gentleman purchased it and... brought it up to the heartland, giving us the opportunity of ownership. The car runs, drives and performs like it was new. The exterior and undercarriage is 100% rust free. The body panels all appear to be original and are laser straight. We recently had the entire car wet sanded, buffed and polished. I would have to say it now shines better than it did when it rolled off the show floor. All 4 doors even open and close like they did when new. All glass, stainless and chrome are in amazing, and near perfect condition. The interior is 100% original and flawless. Since it was stored in a climate-controlled environment, there are no dash cracks, door panel cracks or soft interior discoloration whatsoever. Even the original steering wheel is crack free. It is powered by the original 429 cu in/ 340 hp. which was new for 1964 and boasted 15 more horsepower from 1963. Options include but not limited to; power steering, power brakes, 8 power windows (additional power vent windows front and rear) 6-way power seat, climate control, auto dining head lights, and am/fm stereo. We have the original owner's manual, protection plan booklet, accessories booklet and the original gold velvet key in prestige condition. Only 3 notable flaws. The dash clock does not work. The stereo works part of the time. The a/c when direct wired engages and blows cold but through the defrost, floor and dash vents. This car is truly like stepping into a time warp. It looks, runs and drives like it did when it was new. I have been in the used car wholesale retail business for 35 years and have always dabbled in old collector type cars. I can honestly say this is the cleanest, tightest, nicest, all original 55-year-old I've ever owned and probably one of the nicest in the world. Bid with confidence and be prepared to be amazed.
