This amazing example shows just 19k miles and is a true throwback, right down to its plastic seat covers and working R12 air conditioning.This low mileage example appears to have most of its original Cardiff Gray paint... which is in remarkable condition, well beyond what you might expect from a car of this age. The same goes for the chrome and trim pieces. The underside is solid as can be and still has its original undercoating. It is all a testament to 1963 Cadillac quality; this is about as far from "Made In China" as you can get. The original 390 cubic inch engine engine is rated at 325 hp and gives a smooth, quiet ride. The 4-speed Hydra-matic automatic transmission is a well proven design that Cadillac used for more than 20 years. And of course you have impressive power steering and power brakes, both of which offer a large amount of boost (very befitting of a 1960's Cadillac). Note the original spare tire and jack in the trunk too.The interior is truly amazing. The gray leather / fabric seats have been protected by thick plastic covers for a very long time, possibly since new. The steering wheel and dashboard have hardly aged. The headliner looks new. Again, this is the result of quality materials along with limited use. Everything is stock except for new seat belts and an oil pressure gauge. The factory air conditioning blows cold and the power windows move with authority. Additional options include a 6-way power bench seat, tilt wheel, and remote mirror. You will also find a signal-seeking AM radio and power antenna which both work great.To drive this Cadillac is a real trip through time. The car just seems to envelop you with its luxury and character, not to mention its silky smooth ride. It is a real head turner as well; you will not sneak up on anybody in this one. And with just 19k miles it is one of the nicest examples you'll find.
