Car description

i purchased this car two years ago to restore and "murder" out. I obviously have not had the time. 6 months ago I was driving the car to the store now and again or home once and a while. I believe the vacuum modulator went out. Car was driving then lost all forward gears. It will drive in reverse. Car burned oil but not huge clouds, just the light smoke when cranked and put to high rpms. The car would fly and floated like a boat. There has been some serious rigging performed all over the car by the previous owner. Duct tape here and there, a rope holding something here, this glued on. Etc. I have never not been able to start this car in 2 years. Takes a jump and a bit of silicone but it will fire and keep cranking until it sits unused for more than two weeks. I do not want to exaggerate the condition. It's in pretty rough shape but I feel it's a solid car with someone with time. I have three other projects and I'm usually pretty good at picking out a good set of bones to start with. To prove my point to someone, I sold the thermostat controls for $100. The local folks don't see the value in parts, even if you just had it as a parts car and scrapped the remainder. These parts aren't cheap but this is a great chance to get a cheap project or a plethora of parts. I still have 3 of the 4 original hubcaps. It has the original cb radio and 8 track player. All of the windows, locks, etc work. I never did get cold air! Linkage needs replacing. It dropped on me right after I got it and temporarily rigged it back together. It is what it is. I also don't remember the odometer ever working. Please ignore my "hood rat" on the emblem. It's for Camo lol.
It is being sold local pickup, I'd be willing and am able to deliver up to 500 miles for an agreed upon delivery fee. Not looking to make a mint but pay for gas and expenses and I'm good. Just get with me in a message if delivery is something you'd like to discuss.
