1977 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe

The Cadillac Eldorado driven by Jeremy Renner as character Carmine Polito, (who was based on former Mayor of Camden, New Jersey, Angelo Errichetti) in the film "American Hustle" features plenty of mid '70's hairstyles, and clothing, and also an Eldorado of the same color and model as this '77 Eldorado. It's the perfect car for someone playing a high roller in the 1970's.

For consignment a very good condition car that has been in the same family for the past 42 years. It has always been garaged, and never been out in the rain or snow. A respray of matching color and some replacements of brake lines and rubber was renewed in 2007.

Exterior
Cerulean Blue drapes the straight steel panels on this car. For its age and the excessive length and size of these panels, the car is amazingly straight, and gaps are very good. An original dark blue padded roof covers the B and C pillars at the rear passenger compartment. This top is in excellent condition. Chrome bumpers and badging appears in good condition and some areas of wear can be seen on the door handles and mirrors. Standard exterior color matching wheel covers are adorning all 4 corners.

Interior
Slip inside of the ultra-spacious interior and on to full padded leather in light blue. Slight wear, but very good condition overall. Same for the thick pile carpet that covers the floor inviting you to step in with your bare feet. A beautiful dash stretches door to door and has all the power amenities available right at your fingertips...power door locks, power windows, power mirrors, climate control, cruise control, power steering, rear defogger, and AM/FM/8 track radio. Blue vinyl mixed with wood trim spans through the door panels as well. A showroom condition headliner is seen above. Consigner states that the digital clock stopped working, the left indicator bulb for the high beam needs replacing, and the AC needs to be charged.

Drivetrain
The 425ci V8 sits in an original engine bay, where some parts are showing surface rust and minor corrosion. Despite this the engine runs great.

Undercarriage
Upon close inspection one can spy some surface rust, but it is minimal at best. The undercarriage shows the original factory undercoating. Consigner states new tires all around with less than 50 miles on them, obviously just put on.

This very large, very luxurious car well maintained and taken care of like a favorite toy, by members the same family is here for consignment. A test drive reveals this car drives like a dream and includes a great 8 track tape for your driving enjoyment.
