Take a look at this unbelievable find!Here is a gorgeous 1956 Cadillac Sedan de Ville 4dr hardtop that has been in the hands of a private collector for many years.We believe this Cadillac to have only 22000 original a post WW2 time period and with the Korean war having just subsided two years prior no design characterized the automobile industry in the late- 1950's with the flamboyancy that the 1956 Cadillac de Ville!This slice of post war Americana has been... pampered its whole life and it shows.Its finished in GM's Chantilly Maroon Metallic with gold Bombay cloth and white leather that's just plain stunning.We believe this car to be mostly original with the exception of one repaint.We also believe the front seat was to be redone with the correct material from SMS and looks amazing.Not only does this cars pedigree speak for itself the back story as we have been told is just as unique.The car was bought in the late 50's by USAF Cornal Evans who was a bomber pilot in both wars. As the story goes, the low mileage was due to the Cadillac being flown via US Airforce cargo plane to which ever base Col.
