Car description

18K TRUE SURVIVOR 1982 CADILLAC ELDORADO Currently listed on eBay for sale (with no reserve) we are offering this clean title 1982 Cadillac Eldorado. With only 18,225 original miles, it is truly a rare survivor. This Eldorado has retained all of it's stock splendor with the exception of it's "Classic Cadillac" period correct upgraded grille. It's original paint is still in very good condition. There are some extremely minor spots of rust near one for the trunk hinges, the door lips, and the passenger edge of the front bumper. There is also a few minor dings in the chrome and some minor chrome age on the door mirrors. The seats are aged and cracking (yet still acceptable for its age) All these areas are closely covered in both the photos and videos listed below. The vast majority of the car is cosmetically very nice. Mechanically it is also very solid. It features a 4.1 V8 driving the front wheels. Engine runs well but feels as if it would use some minor carburetor adjustments (bogs out when giving heavy throttle - drives fine under normal acceleration). Transmission shifts well and suspension feels proper going down the road. Steering is nice and tight and feels well aligned. Tires are Vogue Tyres with just a little over 200 miles driven on them. The A/C blows nice and cold and both windows operate with no issue. There are a few imperfections in the dash area. The chrome that runs around the wood is slightly worn, the left information screen has RTV extruding around the edges, the radio & antenna do not work, there is an open hole to right of radio with a small piece of trim missing, and the vent to the right of the temperature control is missing part of one fin. All of these areas are also covered closely in the photos and video below. The only other know issue is the trunk pull down, which latches but does not pull down. We have admittedly not owned this vehicle for an extended time, but the time we have spent driving and being around the car, these are all the issues we have noticed. Other than the listed issues this is an EXTREMELY nice car and would not take much work to make it suitable for even the pickiest collector. If there are any questions about this Eldorado please feel free to call or text David @ 330-421-8775 anytime (especially if you need routed to the additional 166 photos & video). Good luck and happy bidding!
