1959 Cadillac S&S Park Row Limousine Style Combination Hearse Ambulance
Up for sale! Beautiful '59 hearse! doesn't get any better than this! This is your opportunity to own the coolest year hearse ever made!
Runs and drives great! Engine does not smoke. Transmission shifts correctly. Odometer just flipped to 3000 miles. I'm assuming it's 103,000. Clear CA. title. Straight solid body!
New brake shoes, rebuilt wheel cylinders, rebuilt power booster, new master cylinder, new fuel pump. New 24 inch glass-pacs. I couldn't find an interior guy to do the dashpad how I wanted it done, so I installed a dashcap for now.
Front floor pans repaired and painted with Por15. Passenger side floor onlyneeded a 4inch x 5inch repair. The floor behind the front seat was cleaned up with a wire brush and painted with Por15.
No stars or cracks in windshield.There is some glazing around the bottom of the glass.
Odometer works. Speedometer makes some noise and needle jumps around. Dash lights work.Turn signals work.Fuel gauge doesn't work. The intake manifold has a crack. Vehicle does leak some oil on my driveway. Transmission does not leak.
The chrome is original and not perfect but very nice.
Both passenger side windows are stuck in the up position. Drivers window was stuck also and my mechanic took drivers window and regulator apart, lubricated the regulator, new grease in track, window works fine now. Driver side wing window regulator isbroken. I have all the interior door handles.
One repaint about 10 years ago. Paint is starting to lift in areas as seen in photos. The paint is lifting above the side windows that are above the quarter panels. This is not rot, just surface rust. I have many more photos that I can send you.
There is a rust spot at the top of the driver's sidequarter panel where the quarter panel meets the doorand some smallbubbles above the fender skirt on the passenger side of vehicle. This can be seen in photos.
If you want to put this coach back in service it will need paint and interior. The front seat was redone about 10-15 years ago and is very firm and comfortable. The flip floors in the back are stuck and do not flip over. The screws that hold the jump seats to the floor are loose.
Vehicle started off in North Carolina and came to California in the mid 1990's. In 2011 vehicle went to South Carolina for about a year. I brought it back to CA in December 2012. Vehicle is located in Orange County by Disneyland.You are welcome to come and look at the vehicle before bidding if you want.
