Car description |
---|
We are trying to be fair to all buyers and we do not want non paying bidders bidding up cars that an honest person wants to buy, and being bid up by a person who is playing a game with our account and thousands of other accounts in this country. We want to be fair and square to all real potential bidders. Non paying buyers will be reported to eBay. We hope not to have any.Balance is to be paid by check, cash orwire transfer only. Please send us your name and phone number directly through eBay so we can work out the paperwork and delivery afterdeposit has been made. We charge $150 for paperwork and title transfer and 45 daytags are available for $18.50.
We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer's Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it'sthe buyer's responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can't make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car.
If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer's responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on the vehicle because they now own it. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 970-300-1020. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final. All deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you know exactly what you're buying before you bid. Our shipper will get the car to you within 4 days to 2 weeks at a fair price. If you'd like to call him for a price, that would be fine.
All cars left on our lot after 30 days will be charged $18 a day and we hope we never have to collect a dime. But we don't have enough space to store everyone's car after they're paid for. It's the buyer's responsibility to pick up their car that they just purchased. Please remember we are on the buyer's side. Please only bid if you are a real bidder who wants to purchase the vehicle, and again, if you haven't purchased 3 items over the last 3 months we will remove your bid. If you're zero bidder and you bid at the last second just before the auction ends, the vehicle will be offered to the bidder before you and you will not end up with the vehicle, so you need to call us.
Thank you for looking at our 1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Convertible. This car is red with white leather interior and a white convertible top. This car belonged to a gentleman that owned a body shop and he purchased it a few years back to restore it to beautiful condition. So he spent over $1000 on it mechanically, made sure it ran well before he started working on it, and then with all his projects, since he's retiring, he sold me the car because he knows I buy and sell old cars. The original switch that puts the top up and down was replaced with a switch in the bottom of the dash panel which was shown in the pictures. It was very professionally put in and it works perfect. The old one would work, then not work, because it was an old switch. We don't want anyone having a problem with putting the top up and down, and we want them to know the top works 100%. The interior is exactly what you see, and looks great for its age.
The body on the vehicle has very little rust because the car was from PA, not used much in the winter, or not at all, and they used cinders on the roads, not salt. The body of the car had some paint work done in the past, and some of the paint doesn't match the rest of the paint perfectly, but all in all the car still looks good. Please remember what I said earlier in the ad, that a bodyman was going to restore it. The reason he liked this car so much is that the bumpers are in great shape, the underneath of the car is very solid, both frame rails under the vehicle are in really great shape, and it start and runs well.
If you want to get in it and drive it home, the car should make it, but I always suggest to buyers to have them shipped and you'll definitely get them home the same way I sold them to you, but here again, that's not my decision to make. So if you're looking for a convertible, especially a cool convertible like this Cadillac Deville, we think it's a great car. Drive it or restore it, but no matter what you do with the vehicle, a person who likes a car like this will definitely have fun driving it. We'd also like to mention that the title is clean, and the miles on the title read 1000 miles, so it is exceeded. This Cadillac will be sold to the last highest bidder when the auction ends in 5 days.
