1936 LaSALLE 4 Door 50 Series, UN RESTORED ORIGINAL
An original, LaSalle, a garaged car with 21,256 miles. Good original paint with some nicks & flaws as to be expected for 82 years of experience. One fender has been repainted and was matched exactly (will advise which fender if person inspecting is is unable to tell). Very good interior with one worn thru spot in left rear carpet, front carpet is worn & dirty, there is some moth ball odor still present. Present owner has put almost 2,000 miles on it since purchasing at Hershey in October, 2014 when the OD read 19,267 miles. Other than the excellent original condition of the car the only documentation of mileage is a Sunoco service sticker on door jamb dated 6/14/71 and 11,369 miles.
There is a letter from the factory when purchased as well as some additional registrations, service manual and service policy, please refer to photos.
Car has been driven on short trips of 50 miles & less at speeds of 55 to 60 mph to various car shows where several First Place in Original Class have been awarded. Engine runs well but is currently in need of tune up, possible carb work. Current owner installed an electric fuel pump. The front brakes have a pull to the right. Owner is a retired mechanic but deteriorating health prevents him performing tune up and brake work. Car is located in Westfield, IN. Full payment of balance is due within three (3) calendar days of auction close. Payment is to be by cash in person at our financial institution or certified U. S. funds via bank wire. Paper work & title will be held and car will not be released until our financial institution verifies collected funds.
