Up for Auction is my 1980 Cadillac Brougham 'd Elegance This Classic Car is a real survivor .It's totally original throughout Orig. Low miles 61,635 (actual) This is the only year that Cadillac had the full displacement 6.0 Litr, 368 CID V-8 engine. They offered a crappy version of the big block engine from 1981 thru 1984 This one was a variable displacement V8-6-4 6.0 Litre computerized version which proved to be unreliable for the most part. This car runs great and drives super smooth and quiet. The body is super straight and totally rust free The interior of this elegant beauty is in excellent original condition except for the headliner which is coming loose. The power equipment except for the AC and power antennae (radio) is all working . The exterior paint is in fair condition, the clear coat finish on the trunk lid is peeling off.. The tires appear to be very good. This car has an incredibly soft and quiet ride. There is absolutely no wear showing on the plush pillow style seats done in a thick Florentine velour in dark claret wine color. It would take only a minor cosmetic restoration to bring this classic beauty to it's full glory. The major items that need repair are : (1) muffler and tail pipe (2) AC service/repair (3) padded vinyl roof (4) headliner.There's loads of spare parts in the trunk to make it into a perfect restoration. I'm pricing this car for a quick sale and offering it on a very low Reserve price. The car is worth a lot more $3,500.00 (fair market value) It has come time to sell off my classic Cadillac collection due to adverse health issues and the loss of my storage space.
