72 Caddy my father left me. He was a car collector and about to restore it but unfortunately passed away. The CV joints had been replaced and the convertible top mechanism was fixed properly and the top was new about 3 years ago. I was going to restore it into a fun beach car and have just put a new fuel pump in it as well as a total rebuild on the carb. It starts right up and runs perfect. As usual, the carpet got wet over the years and rusted out the front of the floor pan. I pulled the carpet out completely to let dry out. Not trying to BS anyone on here, that's why I put a picture of the floor pan on here. I tore out the rusted part so I didn't cut my leg when I start it. Floor pan kit is available for 400.00 . I was going to weld one in and get a carpet kit and just use it for fun. I just have to many other projects, mainly a boat lol I need to finish. Just put a new white wall on it to get it rolling. Would rather see it fixed then crushed into a cube. Could be a fun throw a beach chair and cooler in the back car. If I don't reach auction reserve I'll keep it. That little bit of money won't change my life.
