1931 Cadillac Sport Phaeton Convertible Custom Barn Find

1931 cadillac, This seems to be a custom sport Pheaton convertible. It looks all original, except it has a modern driveline. A Ford straight 6, with powersteering and power brakes, with an C4 automatic transmission. Has drum brakes which work well except when pushed tends to pull to the right. Needs adjusting. Motor starts right up on a quick turn of the key. trans shifts well, Gear lever is on floor by drivers foot pic showing it. it pulls up and down kind of unique. Runs quiet and smooth down the road, with alittle play in steering. Tires have nice tread but sidewalls have weather checking from age. Frame in rear right hand side has been repaired by competent mechanic/welder. All lights work including brake and turn signals and Fog /driving lights. Car is an older restoration and is not perfect however mechanical seems to be in good condition. The pass side door is operated by an electrical opener push button. The rear interior door handles will need TLC. The convertible top seems to be a take off type with aluminum bows, it is in good shape but could use a cleaning. I will put bak on prior to pick up. the body has couple nick here and there hard to see them though. The left headlight rim has screws in it to hold it on and the rim is discolored the bucket had rust where it mounts so had to put screws in. I will need to remove the Fog lights as they are off one of my other vehicles but will leave wiring and switch. Speedometer and gas guage do not work. Has a clear Ohio title. Does not have door glass and looks as though never did. The car looks original but with the modern driveline it one that can be driven as mechanical parts are readily available. It is a pleasure and quite enjoyable to drive. Car is being sold as is. Car wiring has been updated as well as ignition and charging and cooling systems.
