1983 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D’Elegance ONE OWNER FROM NEW ONLY 50,960 MILES FROM NEW VIDEO WITH LISTING VIN: 1G6AB6985D9114252 Paint: Beech Metallic (94) Trim: Medium Beech (58G) We purchased this ‘83 Fleetwood from a local gentleman, the son of the original owner. He was selling the car following the passing of his father, a man who took great pride in his Cadillac. It’s evident immediately upon looking over the exterior, interior, underbody, and engine bay that this car has been babied since the day it was sold... new. The tremendous originality and level of preservation are great to see. Exterior: - Please see the video along with the listing, as every blemish on the car is shown close-up and in direct sunlight. Blemishes include a couple of touched-up scratches, one on the passenger front fender and another on the driver front fender. - Beech Metallic paint is original throughout and looks phenomenal. Very little for signs of age at all. Fantastic metallic sparkle. Chrome is in great shape throughout, with no scrapes or dents and a mirror-like finish with no oxidation. - Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free. - Hubcaps are free of any damage, Firestone whitewalls are in great shape as well. Interior: - Interior is quite good. Powered systems are all functional, including but not limited to: Air conditioning, sunroof, windows, locks, lights, signals, mirror adjustments, seat adjustments, radio, heat/fan, door panel lights, soft-close trunk…. - Gauges are all functional and the odometer reading of 50,960 is accurate based on known ownership history and outstanding condition. - Seats are in excellent shape front and rear, with virtually no visible wear. No fraying, scuffing, or stains. - Dash is also in great shape, with no damage or discoloring. Original steering wheel is not cracked or sticky. - Headliner is nice and tight. Under the Hood / Underbody: - Please take a look through the underbody photos, as it’s documented in detail. Underbody looks very good. Nothing more than superficial surface rust on suspension components. No evidence of any leaks of any significance. Structurally excellent. Rockers and floors are in great shape. - It’s truly impressive how clean the engine bay is. The 4.1L HT4100 V8 is not particularly quick getting up to speed, but that’s past the point of a Fleetwood Brougham anyway. At speed the car cruises extremely nicely. Dead silent, with very forgiving suspension and luxurious interior. The car starts first turn without fail, idles steady and cool, and drives very, very well. Tracks straight down the road, brakes nicely. An excellent driver across the board. - This car will come with the owners manual and original title. Overall, this is a beautifully preserved, entirely original, and well-sorted ‘83 Fleetwood Brougham D’Elegance.
