CADILLAC ELDORADO 1970 orig. PHANTON GRAY paint 65,461 miles 2nd owner extras

This auction is for my personal CADILLAC ELDORADO that I put a WI collector plate on. It was made in 1970 and I am the 2nd owner purchased in 1982 and only put on about 20,000 miles so total of 65,46x. This car has never been in an accident so nice and straight no body work. I did a number of changes to it so if your looking for an all original car this is not it. It has the original PHANTOM GRAY paint that has faded and I used some rubbing compound on the front of the hood and then put some good wax on it to bring back the finish. There are some spots here and there that need paint. The fenders still have some of the red pin stripes. It has dual mufflers I had put on. It has hydraulic shocks with coil springs to replace the old air shocks so the car rides higher in back and doesn't sway. It has a 1969 ELDO grill the 1970 grill was very tinny. It has a 1968 engine 472 CI not the 500 CI. I had the motor changed because there was a tick in the engine. I had new valve lifters installed in this engine and it runs quiet. I had a larger new radiator put on. These changes made it a much better running car. There are some things the new owner will have to deal with. The roof is original and starting to bubble up on the rear bottom edge see photo. The windshield has a blurry spot on it on both the driver and passenger top corners. The carb needs a cleaning which I will have done. The gas tank will need to be repaired it has a leak when more than half full. One thing which went wrong last year is the ignition switch will need to be replaced which I will have done. That said it is being sold AS IS. I have some extras that I will include. I have a spare rear window I saved from my parts car. I have an original service manual/paint chart and misc. other parts.I will provide more photos. Email me for any questions.
