Car description

1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

Up for bids is this sharp '59 Cadillac. A long-time Oregon car, this Coupe DeVille was customized by one of Portland's premiere fabricators. The body is arrow straight with beautiful paint and zero rust issues. Look for more information written alongside the photos below, there's over 50 photos to show the quality of this car. Feel free to email any questions you may have. The reserve is LOW (please don't ask) and I can help arrange shipping worldwide. Thanks for looking!

Really nice paintwork, including the door jambs. These big body panels are straight and rust-free, with no dents, scratches or dings.

New AGP windshield in perfect condition.

All 6 side glass pieces are in great shape with no flaws.

All of the chrome is in good, driver-quality condition. The rear bumper shows some hazing on the left and right side assemblies.

All 4 power windows work swiftly and smoothly.

Back glass is in excellent condition.

Close-up of pitting on the top piece and hazing on the bottom piece. These areas are probably the biggest flaw on the car.

Windows seals and felts are new, and all weatherstripping is new.

Firestone wide-white radials are in good shape with lots of tread.

The interior has been completely redone from the headliner to the carpet.

All new weatherstripping on the car.

There's a few electrical items that will need attending to. The fuel gauge isn't working, nor are the wipers or horn. The speedometer isn't working either. The power seat and power windows both work like a champ though.

Modern AutoSound stereo in place but not wired in yet. The original radio is included, condition unknown.

The car runs very well, starts instantly and motors along with good power and no smoke.

Recent work includes a new Edelbrock carb, new wheel bearings, and all new brakes.

Correct size battery, less than a year old.

Undercarriage is solid with no rust problems. Nice sounding dual exhaust.

About the reserve price:
Out of fairness to all bidders the reserve is held in confidence, please just bid at the level that you'd want to pay. This auction ends Monday, June 4th at 10AM Pacific Time
