Car description

Better known as "The Iron Maiden" (we are crazy enough to compete in Ironman races) and The "Wild One".She hums like she did off the factory floor - VRRROOOM! and can still burn rubber off the line!

She has been fabulous fun and made great memories. Moving to the big city and don't have room for her.

This was the last year Cadillac made convertibles until they came back into popularity 20 years later and they were never the same as these beauties.

A true classic collectible you can have fun with. She ain't no Granny car anymore! The amount of attention from EVERYONE crosses all spectrums and is nothing short of amazing! It doesn't matter were we go, we are noticed (usually with envy).

My father bought one of these when it was announced they were not making them anymore. I can tell you from experience these just aren't pretty fragile cars. With the V8 and front wheel drive we would launch and tow a 26 ft classic wood boat (not light) and never had a problem pulling it out of the launch. It even did better then the 4 wd CJ7 Jeep he had for plowing. When us kids got to drive it we would beat almost any car off the line! When I decided to get a classic convertible for South Florida it was an easy choice to make. With the traffic I wanted automatic transmission, the option to tow and safety (my kids where very young at the time). They are so heavy I've seen them take on SUVs and put them in a ditch (not this one. no accidents) They have seat belts and can fit a whole lot of people!! One last thing I learned from my father; never NEVER! own a car with black interior, especially if you live in a hot climate and are in the sun. Black absorbs the heat and you will literally "deep fry" yourself.

( make some money with her by using her in parades and weddings)

Honest Issues

A few rust spots but paint is in very good condition. The trim on the steering wheel needs to be regaled, clock works but is unplugged for battery, the original leather seats are showing wear. The front left headlight is out.

I am the 2nd owner. I had it shipped down from New Hampshire. I was very specific about the colors etc I wanted. I have ownership papers. I am a driver and not handy therefore all work is done by a mechanic.

It has the convertible cover when top is down but the snaps are rusty. I will try and remove it. I do not have the hard parade boot.

Happy to answer any & all questions.
