Car description

If you want a car that you HAVE to turn around and look at when you walk away, then THIS IS IT! Great condition 1967 De Ville convertible - the color of a summer sky, dark blue convertible top, and white leather interior. The car is a blast to drive and attracts attention everywhere you go. No rust, top is flawless and works perfectly (new motor for the top in 2017), tires have approximately 1000 miles, interior is very good as well. The car has a 429 c.i. V-8 that could pull anything, and it drives straight and shifts smooth. As far as features, it has twilight sentinel headlights, power seats, power top, power windows, automatic temperature control, and what I believe is the original am/fm radio. I have carefully cared for it for 10 years - I don't defer any maintenance, and I believe I am the fourth owner. As I understand it, it was purchased in Wisconsin, the original owner sold it to a friend, who left it to his son, who sold it to me. I drove it back from Wisconsin with no issue whatsoever. It has been garaged all it's life, and I believe that it has been re-painted and the interior has been restored, though I have no details on that. That said, any 50+ year old car has SOMETHING that isn't quite as it was on the showroom floor. Well, I assure you that I know of zero mechanical issues - but the original radio has not worked for me and the factory a/c and heat have not worked for me either (oh, and the clock is right twice a day, as they say). I never bothered to have either looked at because I can't hear the radio with the top down, I never drove it in the winter so heat wasn't needed, and in the summer the a/c wasn't needed because I had the top down.
