Car description |

Up for No Reserve is a very solid 1960 Coupe De Ville. THIS CAR HAS AN ORIGINAL, TRANSFERABLE, BUT BONDED NEBRASKA TITLE. IF THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR YOU, PLEASE GO ON TO THE NEXT ONE. In the state of NE, it is next to impossible to get a bonded title issued. After the help of a lawyer and four months of state bureaucratic b.s., a title was issued for this car. This car is also a series 63 Coupe De Ville and not a Series 62 2dr HT.
This car is a factory air car,and I am pretty sure I have all of the a/ccomponents, (Pictured is what I have for a/ccomponents). The Cadillac is alsoequipped with PW, PB, P antenna, and Autotronic Eye. Both original engine and transmission come with the car, they were pulled out and are sitting inmy building. Thecarburetor is missing but the engine willturn over by hand. The hood is only sitting onthere for pictures, that's why I have not just bolted the engine in. I WILL WORK WITH THE NEW OWNER ON HOW THEY WANT THE ENGINE TRANSPORTED, I.E. SIT BACK IN THE CAR AND EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS, OR OTHER WAYS.
This car is very solid! Very little metal work will be required for the restoration of this car. The only rust I see on the car is a spot right behind the drivers tire in the trunk,(visible only on the underneath side), on the rocker inside the car on the back drivers side, and on the two pieces of metal that are connected to the front body mounts. Thereare also spots in the lower front fenders. All rust spots are pictured below. The body mounts themselves are in very nice shape. There is no rust in the areas around the windshield and back window. The frame is in nice shape. The floorboards are solid, as is the trunk floor, (except the spot I mentioned above). The doors arealso very solid.Unfortunately,eBay only allows 24 pictures, and I wanted to make sure all rust was pictured, so I was unable to include pictures of thenicefloorboards, doors, and trunk.
The story I was told by the previous owner, was that the car was disassembled for a restoration, and that's about as far as it got. I have a ton of chrome for it, but not sure what all is missing. I know for sure that the grill, and one headlight bezel is missing, hubcaps, taillight lenses, door panels, and back seat. The Hood, front clip and radiator support are not bolted on. The glass is all in very nice shape. All in all it's an easy resto project, with little metal work required!
I AM WILLING TO GIVE A GENEROUS AMOUNT OF TIME FOR PICKING THE CAR UP, HOWEVER THE CAR MUST BE PAID IN FULL NO LATER THEN 7 DAYS AFTER THE AUCTION HAS ENDED. THANKS!On Feb-13-18 at 07:26:16 PST, seller added the following information:

To clarify, a Nebraska bonded title is issued after someone buys a car without a title, and the proper paperwork is filed to assure that the car is not stolen. The title is bonded to prove that the correct legal action was taken to obtain a new title, making the previous title null and void if someone comes forward to claim the car. In other words the bonded title holder is the undisputed owner. If you have any questions on title validity, I would direct you to the NE department of motor vehicles at 402-471-3918. Thanks Travis
