Car description |

1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille 2 door, for sale with Bill of Sale *only*.
Would make a decent restoration project, or an excellent parts car. I've only noticed a few missing parts: air cleaner, 2 high beam lights, ignition/keys, neutral safety switch, 1 rear quarter spear, front/rear window trim incomplete, 1 headlight surround (broken). Otherwise, very complete looking car!
Has the 472 V8 engine, with 84k miles on the odometer, believed to be accurate. Ran when parked many years ago out on a California ranch. I replaced the starter motor, and was able to hot wire the engine to turn over, which it did happily. Have not attempted to start it with gas.
It was parked under a tree which helped preserve the interior, the dash pad is beautiful and the door panels are good too. Seat leather is dry, rears peeling on top. Glass intact, no cracks. Car is equipped with A/C and drum brakes all around, non-posi rear end, non telescoping steering wheel. I got the brakes un-stuck, but it does not roll very easily.
Bottoms of front fenders have rust because it's a Cadillac. Originally a vinyl top, and has some uglyness around the rear window, so look at the pics. Some dents on the body, some dents/pitting on bumpers but they shine up nicely.
Feel free to ask any questions. It is out of the DMV system, verified by the highway patrol today 1/10/18 - sold with CA Bill of Sale and completed VIN verification papers, certified by highway patrol. Happy bidding!
Here's the fine print: Car is represented to the best of my ability, sold as-is, where-is. Non-refundable deposit of $100 must be payed within 24 hours of auction close, and car must be paid for in full within 3 days of auction close. Shipping is buyers responsibility, and car must be picked up within 3 weeks of auction close unless other arrangements agreed upon. Happy to work with you, as long as its reasonable, this is just because I've been burned before. Car also advertised for sale locally, this listing may be removed at any time.
