1978 cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Special Edition

1978 Cadillac Eldorado Biarittz with 9153 original miles. This car was purchased from an estate and this is one of two Cadillac's from that estate. This was the last year for the big Cadillac as they were downsized for 1979. This is one of 2000 special editions made to commemorate that. The cars were sent out for customization to The American Sunroof Corporation and sent back to Cadillac for normal distribution. Of the 2000 made 475 came with an Astro roof. The total option price with the Astro roof was $3547. That did not include the price of the car itself. This car retains the original paint and has not been restored. I did have the bumpers fillers professionally painted and installed. They along with many GM cars of this era are known to go bad. The car has many options and they all work except the power antenna.The factory pain, Arizona Beige, is good and shiny. The Demitasse Brown Metallic, painted at the custom shop when new is not perfect. It looks good but you can see some imperfections. They may buff out. Tires are all good. The chrome,interior, door panels, seat covering, carpeting, floor coverings, headliner are all very nice and show no signs of repair or prior damage. Engine compartment has not been detailed. I did not buy a can of engine paint to make it look "new" The car is 40 years old. I have some repairs orders from the previous two owners. They include an oil change from 5-25-84 with 1904 miles,radiator flush from 8-6-91 with 7909 miles,a new battery on 3-24-2003 with 8014 miles.oil change on 7-8-2011 with 9120 miles and a PA State Inspection on 8-27-2014 with 9132 miles. The car has not been repainted and I see no evidence of any prior bodywork being done to the car. There is no rust. A unique opportunity to own a unique automobile. Make it yours at auction.
