UPDATE 11/07/2017
Received a message from a Buyer that this car is a 62 Series Sedan rather than a 62 Series Sedan de Ville. I was told in 1980 that what I was buying was a 1958 Sedan de Ville. My title shows a 1958 Cadillac, but no model name. Any parts that I needed along the way were ordered for a 1958 Sedan de Ville. I don't know what the difference is, but just looked on the NADA site and saw that there is both a 62 Series Sedan and a 62 Series Sedan de Ville. The average Retail price for a 62 Series Sedan is $15,300. and that the average Retail price for a 62 Series Sedan de Ville is $18,500. High Retail prices are $29,100 and $24,100, respectively. I don't know whether that Buyer was/is correct, but presumably s/he saw something in the pictures that made her/him message me. Thank you for your interest!

New message from: bhhatley (846) UPDATE 11/08/2017 (Final Update)
Received the following from the Buyer referred to above:
Good afternoon, on your Cadillac it is indeed a Series 62 Sedan. The Series 62 comes in both standard deck and extended deck, this one appears to be the standard deck. Most people will never know the difference in length since the difference in extended deck and standard is just a few inches. This car has the same options as the Sedan de Ville including power vents that were usually reserved for the top of the line Sixty Special and Eldorados. The tell-tale difference between the de Ville and the 62 Sedan is the chrome strip that runs along the blister (pod) from the rear door to tail light. The de Ville has a big chrome sheet an the 62 has a smaller molding. I collect 58 vintage cars and this one appears to be very nice and you have it priced fairly.
Good luck with your sale,
GH
