Car description

1990 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D ’Elegance with 78K miles. Features: A/C; cruise control. power locks. power steering. leather interior. power seats. anti-lock brakes. power windows. chrome wire wheels. Selling Points: 78K original miles. 5. 0 liter V8. Fully loaded – Automatic; power steering; power brakes; air conditioning w/ Electronic Climate Control; AM-FM cassette stereo; power windows; power door locks; tilt steering wheel; cruise control; leather interior; 8-way power seats; remote mirrors; intermittent wipers; lighted vanity mirrors; power trunk release; map lights; reading lights. Condition: I bought the car 6 yrs ago when it had 69K miles on it. In 2011 I replaced the engine at 72. 5K miles. The car has 5. 5K miles on the new engine with no issues. It has a current Virginia Safety inspection (December 2014) and Virginia Emissions (November 2014). Transmission shifts smoothly. All power options work. I hate to part with it. but we don’t have the room to keep and store all that I own and my daughter just got her driver’s license and she needs a smaller car. Great color combination with a beautiful red interior. The supple red leather interior is in remarkable condition. The front driver seat shows some minor signs of stress cracks but the overall condition of the seats is excellent. The backseats look like they have never been sat in and show no signs of wear. fading. or stress cracks. The stitching on the leather interior is not coming apart. The red carpets are in excellent condition and there are no stains. rips. or tears on them. Even the spacious trunk is spotless with no stains or wear marks. I am a non-smoker and the prior owner was a non-smoker so there are no funny smoker smells or odors. All of the power equipment works properly including the power driver and passenger seats. dual power recliners. tilt. cruise control. AM/FM radio. power antenna. power pull down trunk. rear lightning. and lighted side vanity lights. In driving this car. it drives straight and feels nice and tight. The engine runs at the proper temperature and there are no warning lights. The new brakes stop without pulsation. List of repairs since I have owned this car: Installed Crate motor from Fliteline engine supply (2011 / 72. 5K miles); replaced all gaskets; new oil pump; new water pump; replaced thermostat; replaced radiator and lower radiator hose; replaced windshield wiper motor; replaced drive belts; new plugs; new brakes and rotors. Recharged a/c; cleaned carburetor. Known Issues: headliner is drooping (fabric is in excellent condition). The car has the original paint and vinyl top - there are several minor rust spots (see pictures - rear trunk bottom edge. near the front passenger door handle; rear driver side panel (approx. 1”x1”). front driver side panel has a small (less than a dime-sized) hole); some pitting on the rear bumper. This is an excellent daily driver and I would not hesitate to drive it long distance / across the country. I love driving it. especially on the highway where it just “floats” on the road. Mechanically the car is very sound and with a new paint job and perhaps a new vinyl top it would show very nicely. This vehicle is being sold as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied.
