Car description |
---|
Sweet 1960 Cadillac 2 door "Big Fin" Coupe. This car has all of its original equipment and only 88K miles on it. It has its 390 4 Barrel with the Jet Way 4 speed automatic transmission along with the optional 3:77 rear gears. This car runs and drives excellent, the ultimate cruiser. They say, "Rides like a Cadillac" well that's this car. It was born this color "Persian Sand" (Pinkish) and has had one repaint years ago. Work that has beenrecently done by previous owner include, new brakes, new master cylinder, 4 new tires, new gas tank, new fuel lines, rubber brake lines, rear shocks, muffler and sending unit. It looks like everything works on this car, lights, wipers, blower, horn, dash gages all seam to work, even the AM radio works (tube set, takes a minute) which is great fun to listen to, brings you back. The paint is older and does have touch ups here and there and some existing scratches that could be touched up. But she shines up nice. There is some rust. There is a hole in the trunk extension just outside of the main trunk center panel, see pic of one side, the other side is the same. There is a piece of the inner rocker on the forward driver's side about 6" long that is rusty, outer and lower rockers are solid otherwise. One floor brace (the small one) is rusted and lastly the inner panels that come down from the trunk (maybe called lower drop offs, near the lower quarter) are both rusty about 1" up and one small hole down low on the driver's side of the rear bumper. The good thing about these spots is they are all just flat pieces that could be easily repaired by someone who can do basic welding, and it wont mess up the paint. Floors, frame, outer rockers, fenders etc. are all rock solid. Like I said, these are easy fixes with flat metal. All in all this is a great looking, great running and awesome driving Caddy that you can enjoy the way it is and worry about the few repairs when you get to them.
