1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Convertible:The 1968 DeVille saw the installation of a power-oriented front seat with horizontal adjustment and the addition of illuminated door panel reflectors.There were richer appointments inside and out, including the traditional rear fender Tiffany-like scripts and plusher upholstery trims.The biggest news however was the introduction of a new 472ci engine – the largest in the industry at the time. It was thoroughly tested with Cadillac putting some 500,000 miles on one.
With the outrageous prices of new cars today, it is definitely much harder to own a "cool car" on an budget. Even it you spend $70k on a new Corvette you will park it right next to 5 identical ones at the grocery store. This Cadillac solves that problem and helps you invest your money wisely at the same time. Its like driving around the coolest piggy-bank in town! The eye-catching San Mateo Red and nicely contrasting white leather make this beautiful Cadillac hard to miss going down the road. And for only $20k, that is pretty hard to do these days. This Cadillac features a powerful 472 needed to push its large body down the road. Power Brakes, power steering, power windows & locks, power top and A/C only add to the driving experience. This Coupe DeVille was fully restored in 2013 but unfortunately had to spend a little time outdoors. Therefore, there are some small cosmetic flaws on the hood and lower quarters that need to be addressed to show the car. Overall, this is a very mechanically strong Cadillac that needs very little to be perfect.
