1961 Cadillac Series 62 Base 6.4L

This is THE nicest 61 Cadillac you'll probably see this side of the Mississippi!This car came out of the Fresno California area. extremely clean before we even got our hands on it so it was the perfect candidate to start with!This one was hand blocked down to bare metal. had the original paint on it. All the side chrome was removed. along with the door handles and hood ornament. Corvette grill added!Holes all welded up and off to body and paint finesse. Engine ran and runs phenominal!Engine was pulled out and re-gasketed. repainted and re-installed. attention to detail especially under the hood is amazing!New carb just because there was no saving the old one. new exhaust. transmission rebuilt. every bolt on the engine has been polished. factory A/C repaired and recharged. works ice cold!Power windows work. the doors open with poppers. there are also 2 safety back ups. a switch hidden under the hood in case a remote fails to work and a cable to open the doors in case the car looses battery power. Dropped this bad boy 2" with new lowered springs from Eaton Detroit Spring. all the brakes were replaced also so it'll stop on a dime. Had to round off the killer look with chrome smoothies from Wheel Vintiques and a set of Baby Moons. and of course Wide Whites!Seats were completely redone and new carpeting installed. dash was re-covered to match the carpeting.
