This is a 1977 Cadillac Coupe Deville. My grandparents bought this car in 1978 with about 10k miles on it and I recently acquired it in May of 2014 due to my grandmothers death. This car has been well taken care of primarily by myself for the past 20 years and a mechanic before that. I know that the radiator. alternator. water pump. front brakes and rotors. master cylinder. spark plugs and wires with platinum plugs. tires. front shocks. transmission filter and seal. drive belts. starter. and muffler have all been replaced in the past 15k miles because I did them. Oil has been changed every 3000 miles with filter since they bought it. The tires have at least 80% tread left on them and are Toyo Spectrums. Aside from the obvious noise that will come from cracked exhaust manifolds. which by the way is a very common issue on GM's. this car runs quite well and with good manifolds I have gotten around 20mpg with it. I have found used manifolds for around $400 for both. I also have a body shop that would replace both rear fillers. paint them. and pinstripe for under $500. The ride on this car is fantastic. and the steering is very smooth and easy to turn. the car goes down the road quite straight and has recently been aligned. If I had the time and needed the car I would fix it for sure and drive it. it is so comfortable and nice to drive. I used to take my grandmother out on small trips in it and it was a delight. I even got married in it and drive 600 miles round trip to do it. Haha. With some tender loving care and a few bucks this car can be brought back to near mint condition. By the way there is also no rust on this car anywhere. Also the body on this car is VERY straight! Feel free to message me with any questions of any kind. I will respond promptly.
