*Special 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood 95k Orig Miles*
**************One Owner, 100% Rust Free***************
This is a 100% rust free, one owner un-restored1966Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, with 95,255 original miles.
-Powerful 428 cid engine starts right up and runs extremely well.
-The car does not leak, smoke, overheat or make any unusualnoises.
-The entire drive trainis solid and tight. On our test drive the car never missed a beat, idled beautifully and wasa pleasure to drive....
-Automatic Transmission shifts properly into all gears
-The brakes, steering and suspension are in good working order. .
Cosmetically this Caddy looks amazing and has a lovely patina. The Fleetwood has been a "Black Yellow" California plate car since new, a clear indication of where the Cadillac has spent the last 51 years. The vehicle was purchased new by its original owner in San Diego California and spent a majority of its existance there (the best climate all year around in the entire world)-(see photo of business card). The owner was a die hard Cadillac enthusiast and historian. He kept everything pertaining to his car and collected a plethoraof all theknick•knacks/dealership literature, interior and exterior color swatches/workshop manuals, etc. He also has some spare matching leather, seat upholsteryand carpetsamples, very nice!!!!! A detailed journal, along with original receipts and overall condition support the fact that this beautiful Cadillac has been well maintained/mostly garage kept since 1966 (see photos) . All of this documentation and historyreally tells the story with this car and it is so nice to see everything together with the car for the next owner. We love it and hope the next owner/operator will appreciate this beautyas much as we do........
-The structural integrity is A++++++, the body, chassis and frame are rock solid. The exterior finish has a lustrous shine and has minor dings, chips, scratches, scrapes, hazing, fading and nicks......As can be expected from any 50+ year old vehicle . Rubber, trim and weather-stripping is largly in good condition, however it is old rubber and does show some signs of age.
-No dents-All of the chrome/trim in great condition with the exemption of the obvious flaws on the front/rear bumpers-The car is complete with no missing parts. The only obvious part that is not original to the car are the hubcaps which we would be happy to help source the factory caps if the new owner so desires and the door panel pockets (easily removable).
-White wall tires all have good tread remaining....not sure of the age/we recommend replacement...
-All of the electrical systems are in proper working order and everything worked properly when tested.
-All power windows including the wing windows operate properly except the driver wing window (motor sounds, window doesn't open) If taken apart and gone through we believe it should work as intended.
-Tastefully installed aftermarket gauges (vacuum, voltage and tachometer)-Nicely done dual exhaust
-Original factory radio/speakers sound good, rare and definitely a plus. Power antenna is inop.
-Most recent repairs:1-Power brake booster2-Master cylinderThe interior is stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The cloth seating surfaces, carpets and headliner are in remarkable condition! The dash has one crack (beneath passenger speaker), otherwise perfect! So amazingly well preserved, hard to believethe age and condition.
-Vinyl roof has cracking and imperfections and would look amazing if it was redone, it is still very presentable and has atremendousamount of character.
-All courtesy lights work properly
There is no doubt this is truly a special car, such cars are very hard to find especially completely rust free California examples like the one offered here. The new owner will be impressed...........
