Car description |
---|
The owner has passed away and the son has asked us to sell this One-Owner Convertible that has only 38,834 miles on it. The car is in good shape; the paint and soft top are original. The paint is an 8 out of 10. The interior is an 8 out of 10.
In 2010, our client contracted a mechanic to go thru the entire car and repair or replace anything they felt was in disrepair or not working. $7,700 later, the car was almost brand new again. Brakes, suspension, carburetor, cooling lines, belts, ...steering dampener, etc were all replaced. She runs down the road excellently. The owner has driven it about 100 miles since then.
The pictures of the engine compartment and the undercarriage are proof that the car was living on or near the saltwater. The rust is mostly superficial with no areas we see that have eaten thru completely. This car with all its bells and whistles is the perfect candidate fir a full restoration.
