Car description |

Up For Sale is My 1976 Fleetwood Eldorado Bicentennial. I purchased this car last year out of Florida. I am selling due to building a new home. This is my 2nd Bicentennial, and I love these cars and the history of them.
This car does start and run, and hits the road nicely. It does have issues as it would be expected for a car of its age. The biggest concerns, is that someone had done some paint work, and the lack of quality shows. From 20 feet, it looks fine, but up close, you'll see several spots where the paint bubbled. There are mechanical issues as well. The radio, odometer, power seat, door locks, a/c, and power antenna do not work. I haven't spent much time trying to root cause the issues and fix them, I just fine tuned the carb, replaced rotted vacuum lines in order to get that 500cid to purr.
The power top looks great, and works well. Good tires
I am asking well below book value, as I know there is work to be done. The car can be driven and taken to car shows for the enjoyment.
If your not familiar with these cars, take time and do some research, there were only 200 produced, the LAST 200 to roll off the assembly line in Detroit. There are many that are kept in private collections, and when the real nice ones come up for sale, they go between $40,000 and $80,000.00, just check the history for Mecum and Barrett Jackson Auction results.
