Car description

This listing is for a beautiful, well-preserved 1990 Cadillac Coupe DeVille located in Phoenix, Arizona. Based on Carfax and Autocheck (available to prospective buyers), this vehicle had 2 or 3 owners before me and has spent its entire life in Arizona. What really makes this Cadillac stand out is its Special Edition gold emblems and a very desirable and rare color combination. For a relatively new classic, this Cadillac gets a lot of attention. You'll have people rolling down their windows praising how nice the car is.
A substantial amount of work has been performed on this Cadillac in the past 3 months but it will still need a few more things from its new owner to make it perfect. With all the completed work, the car doesn't leak a drop of fluid. Overall it runs really nice but I still feel it idles a little rougher than I would like. It's not bad and would be expected with an older car. It's just not something I've had a chance to look into and want to be sure I mention it.

Test Drive - coming soon
ENGINE/POWERTRAIN/MECHANICAL:
-4.5L V8 with sequential-port fuel injection
-180 horsepower & 245 lbs-ft torque
-AT (4-speed w/overdrive)
-NEW HEAD GASKET (cleaned, machined, pressure-tested heads/valves with receipts/photos)
-New intake manifold gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets & grommets, valve-stem seals
-New engine crankshaft seal
-Replaced throttle-body assembly (out of another used Cadillac) & new throttle-body gasket
-New oil pan gasket
-New transmission pan gasket, filter, and transmission fluid
-New thermostat and thermostat housing gasket
-New spark-plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor
-All new engine/transmission mounts
-New power steering pressure sensor
-R-134 AC conversion. The AC system has been repaired twice but still has a slow leak. Loses freon over the course of a month.
-New front struts with upper and lower strut mounts
-Rear air-ride suspension works as it should
-New front brake-pads and resurfaced rotors
-New brake fluid
-Prior to my ownership, it appears that a new AC compressor had been installed and a new catalytic converter had been installed
-New tires and alignment
EXTERIOR:
-Excellent overall condition with some chips/blemishes
-I think drivers door has been repainted (Carfax reports an accident in 2006)
-Brand new vinyl top
-Gold ornamentation package
-Original 15" wire hubcaps are included but are missing center caps. Currently, has inexpensive plastic wire hubcaps installed.
-Vehicle was clayed, polished, glazed, waxed, and sealed
INTERIOR:
-No cracks on dashboard
-Driver seat needs to be refurbished/reupholstered
-Leather on center console has cracks
-Steering wheel has cracked leather
-AC leaks out freon after about a month
-Heat works but seems to take a while to heat up
-Radio and cassette player work but the power antenna does not
-Cruise control works
-If both windows are fully rolled down, both have a hard-time coming back up. I usually roll them down about 90% and then don't have any issues.
-Automatic parking brake release does not work. Parking brake needs to be released manually.
-Headliner is in great shape overall but is starting to sag slightly above driver-side sun visor. When visor is up, it holds the headliner in place and is almost unnoticeable.
