This actual car was commissioned to be built by no other than "Ed McGah" former owner of the Oakland Raiders. When the Raiders beat Philadelphia in Super Bowl 15 back in 1980, the owner of the Raiders wanted something special to commemorate their victory. He contacted Cadillac, who was a large supporter of the NFL and vehicle sponsorship at the time, and asked what they could do for him. He wanted something he could enjoy, but at the same time share with his ever growing family. He also wanted to be able to participate in those family events, and bring along the grand kids, and that meant all of them.....! The result, was this amazing factory built 1981 Cadillac Estate Wagon. To this day, the car is still in the same family, and has never been owned or taken care of by anyone else other that a family member. As time went by, things of course needed to be tended to, so after his passing, his grandson, in his honor, decided to do a complete mechanical restoration of the vehicle. It received a completely rebuilt motor (scrapping the 4-6-8 problematic first gen injection system) and some nice engine dress up parts. At he same time the transmission was completely rebuilt, rear end, new gas tank, computer, alternator, carburetor, etc. etc... You name it,, he did it,, absolutely no expense spared for his grandfathers pride and joy. We have receipts for all of the work and documentation. It has MAYBE 150 miles on it since the total mechanical restoration. The finishing touch was the genuine Cadillac wire wheels and a nice new set of wide whitewalls. They truly set off this beautiful car..This is truly a once in a lifetime ultimate tailgate Raider mobile. Completely original, one owner factory built Cadillac Fleetwood Estate Wagon with a rich history..
