Car description

You are bidding on anoriginal and very nice 1985Cadillac Seville with only 58,000 miles on the odometer.
1985 was to be the last year for the infamous "bustle back" Cadillac. I was just a kid when they came out, but they made a big stir in caraficionado circles. No doubt, thesaying was a love it or leave it affair, yet, for all it'scriticism Cadillac sold a good number of these (now) classic four doors. In fact,, 39,755 were made in 1985. Curiously, you never see one on the road today -thirty years later.
Driving this car immediately puts you smack dab in the middle of the 1980's. From it's two tone paint to it'saudaciously fake wood interior (plastic really) the Seville scream 80's excess. Not unlike the boat-tail 1971-73 Buick Riviera, the Seville broke new ground inAmerican Car Styling. It was, in fact, the first "retro" styled car made by General Motors. Long before the current rash ofretro styled cars the Cadillacunabashedly copied the great 1930-50's RollsRoyce and Bentley Silver Cloud styling to a "T". Lincoln and Chrysler soon followed this theme in the late 80's.
You slide around onthe leather a bit, while cornering. There is a pleasant "Macy's" bing thatrepeatsendlessly when you don't fasten yourseatbelt and theradio -despitebeing called "Symphony Sound", wasweak at best. Yet, this was all we knew in 1985. Mercedes was making a push in this market - but in theearly 80's, Cadillac wasstill the Standard ofthe World. Ofcourse, that was soon to change.
Our 1985 Seville runs beautifully - floating down the road with aplomb. She handles better than you mightexpect, because of the front wheel drive. The automatic transmission is Cadillac smooth and the brakes aremodesty strong. There is nothing but smiles while driving this Caddy (on your face and that of the passerby). Everyone loves this car now - and she elicits a crowd or a conversation at every gasstation fill up. If you're shy, this isn't your car.
Thedigital dash was apurview into more elaborate computer systems ofthe future, but it does display a variety ofinformation - such as miles to empty (appropriate for a Caddy).
Keep in mind, the car is a product of 1985 General Motors.Translation - the paint is only average. It was average from the factory. But it is factory original. GM had problems with their paint process throughout the 80's. She looks factory - orange peel and all. There are no signs of any collision damage.
Mechanically the car is great - as you wouldexpect with only 58,000 miles. Everything works as designed.
Here is a list of features:

There is no sunroof.
It won't be longbefore the Bustle Back Cadillac is a "sudden" and hotcollectible. I simply liked them - and love driving them. It's, umm, a more relaxingexperience. You'll love it too.
