We used this car for our classic car tours Ride Free Classic Car and Motorcycle Tours. I bought it and outfitted it for use for our classic car tours going 3,000 miles Chicago to LA on Route 66. Some of the work had already been done, ut we had the engine rebuilt and have done lots of work since we have had it. We since have decided to stop offering the classic tours, o I am selling the car. If not there is no way I would sell this car after all the work we have done to it to make it such a reliable cruiser.

PICTURES BELOWThis modernized Cadillac Cadillac Convertible is in good cosmetic shape and great mechanical shape! With it's recent rebuilt more modern 472 engine and overdrive transmission it is a great quiet cruiser, r floor it and it is a muscle car Cadillac. Hop in, rab a few friends and go for a cruise down Pacific Coast Highway or Chicago to Los Angeles on Route 66! Black paint and a solid body gives a solid foundation. The recently rebuilt engine starts right up, uns great and the modern overdrive transmission shifts correctly like it should. It tracks in a nice straight line right down the highway. The modern front and rear power disc brakes stop so much better than the old drum brakes. Steering is very tight with the more modern power steering gear box than the original steering, and it handles great cruising down the road with the added on performance front sway bar, ear lower tubular control arms, nd large optional rear sway bar. The car rides nice, ut surprisingly handles very well with all the sway bars on, ore like a sports car in turns, nd is super steady at top highway speeds. Absolutely nothing like the floaty cloud handling of an unmodified similar car. But, ust unbolt the sway bars if you like and it will give the Cadillac float with a more rolling body etc in turns.... The wider than stock rims accommodate the added front and rear disc brakes and add stability. The car still looks pretty much stock with all this work done. Except there is a cool rake / forward slant to the car, hich could be changed in the rear to level if you wanted to do so. The engine has a little more power than stock ( though is a great cruiser ) with the 4 barrel carburetor and aluminum intake. It has a stock cam which makes it a nice cruiser, ut one one do a cam change to really wake up this car. The exhaust flows through a 3 inch custom exhaust with a cross over pipe. It has a nice quiet tone, ith a little rumble when under hard throttle.#Custom water sprayer cooling system added= push button and water sprays on the radiator from a tank = cars can not overheat in traffic ever in the summertime!Enginerecently rebuilt earlier this year, 974 472 V8 engine by top machine shop.
