1990 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham / rare Diplomat Blue / extremely well kept / low miles / 100 pics / inspected / garage kept

Up for bid is the 3rd out of 4 Cadillac Broughams I'm selling. I purchased it this past summer from another collector who owned it for the last 15 years. He purchased it from the Cadillac dealer, n which he only put 7,000 miles during his ownership. It has spent all its life in western PA, nd I think fairly safe to say any salt exposure was minimal (if at all), nd appears to have been garage kept throughout its existence. This is finished in a beautiful Diplomat Blue with contrasting light blue pinstripe, nd dark blue interior, ith a relatively low 87,760 original miles, hich is documented on the title. It has many options, ncluding dual vanity mirrors, eated mirrors, ual reclining/power seats, ower pull down trunk, adillac AM/FM CD Stereo (recently installed NOS from dealer, ith protective sticker still on the face), utomatic leveling rear shocks, -note trumpet horn, wilight sentinel, nd wire wheel discs. Everything works, ven the power antenna! Amazingly, t still wears the original style Uniroyal Tiger Paw Royal Seal gold-striped tires, hich were probably installed at some point in the mid-1990's as an exact replacement for the original set, s these have been discontinued for at least 20 years. These are very hard to find. The tires alone are worth quite a bit. I also have the original owner's manuals. It is equipped with the tried-and-true 5.0 V-8 engine, hich was a major improvement over the V-8's used in Cadillacs from the early 1980's.

Exterior: No dents or dings of any kind. Paint is very nice, ith some minor fading on the hood and trunk as was typical with this color. In fact, y parents bought one this same exact color brand new, as garage kept, nd began to fade 2 years after they bought it. So this is no shame for the age, nd is not noticeable except upon close inspection. No rust anywhere. No rust under the front doors. Rear doors had some surface scale underneath which I sanded and recoated. Chrome and stainless steel trim is very good and still shines brightly. Vinyl top is very good without tears or fading. The underbody has only minor surface scale. No doubt this has always been a garage-kept car.

Interior: The blue cloth is very comfortable. No stains, ips, r tears of any kind. It does not have any evidence of smoke smell, lthough I noticed a couple very small spots on the front seat which might be burn holes. I cannot explain this because the cigarette lighter was never used and it still smells like a brand new car. Headliner and sail panels do not sag anywhere. Dash board and door panels are not cracked. No fading of any sort. Carpets are clean and very soft. Even the mats are in great shape. Trunk is clean too. Other than a couple minor imperfections in the driver seat, he interior is in excellent shape overall.

Mechanical: It passed the rigorous PA safety inspection and is good through June 2016. A/C blows cold and was converted to R-134. The garage floor is dry after sitting for several days at a time. Does not leak anywhere to my knowledge. I believe the hoses and belts are still original; but they appear to be in good shape. The oil and filter was recently changed. Tranny fluid still looks good, oo. The alternator was just replaced last month. The car steers tight, racks straight, nd stops smooth. All power equipment works great. The only problem I've noticed is the intermittent wiper control switch can sometimes act up, ut the regular wiperspeeds (hi, edium, ow) work fine.

Overall: This is one of the cleanest Cadillac's I've seen. I'd say this is nicer than many cars with half the mileage. This is probably the cleanest 87,000 mile car I've seen in a long time. Normally I never buycars having more than 70,000 miles, ut this was an exception, because it was extremely well kept. I think the next owner will be very pleased with the condition of the car. Get in and drive it anywhere, n my opinion. However, f driving long distances I'd recommend a new set of tires due to age. However, hese tires ride great even at highway speeds. As mentioned earlier, hey are very collectible (and could be resold for good $$!). I've had this beauty for only a few months, hich is typical for me. In fact, bought 4 Broughams this summer and plan to sell each one in the next few weeks. I call it a "revolving collection". Will also have a 75 Electra for sale, oo. It's like fishing....when you catch one and throw it back in the water. I only have 2 cars that I plan to keep indefinitely - a 72 Cutlass convertible that my parents bought in 1973 and a 71 Mercury Cyclone GT which is very similar to my first car. Please feel free to call me with any questions on this beautiful Cadillac. My # 814-934-4094. I am not a dealer or a mechanic, ust a car hobbyist.

This car is very nice, nd some people might say the car is "perfect" or "flawless". The average person may describe it as such-- but for a car collector, here's never anything 100% perfect unless it was restored. As such, his car was never restored and has almost 88,000 miles and has some minor flaws. I have sold numerous cars on eBay and in all situations I had positive feedback. I attempt to describe each vehicle as accurately and honestly as possible and I do not think you will be disappointed. As with anything, f you desire to bid on the vehicle, would encourage you to see it physically and drive it for yourself before you bid. I would not be afraid to drive this car across the country. It runs and drives excellent and will make a very nice classic for you. If you get the winning bid and are not completely satisfied upon your physical inspection, ou can walk away from the vehicle, ess $100 of your deposit (to pay for the cost of having to relist on eBay).

I forgot to mention there is a stone chip on the top of the windshield, here the factory blue tint runs across the top. It appears to have been repaired already, nd not spreading. It is about the size of a dime. It is outside of the drivers' direct line of vision.
