I purchased this car from the original owner's family who have been longtime friends of mine. They called me after he passed since they knew I liked the car and loved hearing the stories he told about buying it for his wife. He and his wife picked the car up in Detroit the day it rolled off the assembly line. He was an Exec for TG&Y here in Oklahoma and his wife drove the car as a daily driver from the time it was new until the early 90's then they stored it in their barn (cement floor) until last year when after his death they decided to sell it. At that time it did not run. It now runs and drives great! Here is a list of repairs, aintenance that was performed after I purchased the car:New starterNew Headlight switch, immer switchNew batteryComplete service and recharge the air conditioning system (blows ice cold)Tune- up; including plugs, ires, tc.New brakes all around including hoses, otors, ads, heel cylinders, tc.Power steering flushRadiator, ooling system flushed and replacedNew wiper bladesOil and lubeNew tires ($800.00)Interior work; headliner, oor panelsNew alternatorNew fuel pumpOriginal radio works, lock works, ll electrics work except the radio antenna - it is stuck in the up position. Have not been able to locate a replacement. Dash and steering wheel do have cracks and showing their age. Seats and carpet are in great shape for their age. Has had one repaint and looks good (great color combo) but definitely not show quality. Car is a great driver but my no means a trailer queen. You'll feel like De Niro in "Goodfellas" when you're cruising down the street! This car gets looks everywhere I go! Thanks for looking and good luck!
