1956 Cadillac Series 62 4 door Sedan

The Memphis Belle~!!!Just started this project and have decided to go another way...and wifey wont let me buy the other project until I move this one.This car would be excellent restored or a fantastic rat-rod-lowrider!Car is pretty cool, as rust on most panels, ut nothing that cannot be fixed. someone spent a lot of time painting this car Pink, ut the paint is very faded and will need redone. Engine (365) runs smooth and starts right up, ith just a little smoking when car is warming up. Transmission needs an adjustment, s it sometimes "shudders" when in reverse. both engine and tranny leak a little.Interior door panels are intact, xcept for one small seem pop, ut will need cleaning and new boards. Seats are in excellent condition. No headliner, ut all bows are present. I also just purchased sun visors, ut they are not installed. Driver's window glass is broken, nd there are several cracks in the flat glass. but the front and rear windshields are good.I just rebuilt the rag joint (steering coupler) and installed a new power-steering pressure line (custom fabricated/not OEM). Car was set up for air-ride in the past, ut is static dropped now. 3in blocks over leafs in the back with Monroe Air Shocks, ront has shortened springs. NOTE the custom fender skirts....pretty cool, uh? Tires look new.Car was sold to me as a Deville, ut doing research I found it is a Series 62 (10 window). Car has a clear Tennessee Title, ut as a Deville. NOTE: this car is NOT a DeVille, ut a Series 62.Car does need work, ut is priced to sell for this pretty rare model.
