1974 Cadillac Eldorado Base Convertible 8.2L 21k Original Miles Beautiful

For sale is my all original 1974 Cadillac Eldorado sporting only 21k original lightly driven miles. I am the second owner of this car, have had it for 2 years. It has had a recent carburetor rebuild and a full tune up/fluid changes since. It runs and drives perfect. Tires and brakes are very good. It rides like a dream and has plenty of power. Exterior paint shines nicely and chrome is in nice shape with no pitting. There are some areas that have been touched up over the years but this is to be expected with a 41 year old car. All the plastic filler pieces have already been replaced. The interior upholstery is in excellent shape. It has been preserved very well. Theleather seats are nice and soft with no cracking or much sign of use. Thecar bares its original convertible top which is very good condition for its age, nly just starting to get a very minor tear at one of its less noticeable seams. It operates perfectly as it only has been used a few times since new. There is no rust on this car at all. The underbody is as clean as the top.

The car belonged to a friend of mine who had recently passed in his mid 90s. It was primarily his wife's carand she barley drove it with the top down in order to not disturb her hair. This car was always garage kept and never driven in the winter. After his wife had passed in 1992 he had the car stored until I obtained it fall of 2013 with 19,700 miles. This car truly is a time capsule and has a great story behind it. This car has resided in the small town of Wallington NJ its entire life just minutes from the Big Apple. The couple who owned the car were in the movie prop andNYC Opera industry and were friends with many famous actors and actresses. Supposedly story has it that the were bothgood friends with Elizabeth Taylor and would occasionally pick her up from NYC with the car and come back to Wallington for its famous Polish gourmet food. I have no way to document this but I have multiple parties who were friends of the family who can verify its validity who I can provide you contact with. This is just something id like to mention.

I have enjoyed this car and have taken it on some nice little road trips. This car can be driven anywhere and has proven to be very reliable. Only issues that need to be addressed that I just haven't had the time to get to are, he AC climate control system needs to be serviced,AC will not blow cold, nd the brake fluid resvoire has a very slight drip leak at the seal. The clock and the driver side dash speaker just stopped working as well, hough these can beeasily replaced.Other then these minor quirks everything on the car functions perfectly such as the power windows, oor locks, ower seats, uto headlights, M/FM radio, ruise control etc..

I would like this car to go to a good home where someone will appreciate it and keep its story alive. I am offering this car to the US only. I can assist in an out of state buyer with coordinating shipping but the buyer will be responsible for transport cost.
