You are bidding on a 1937 Buick Special 40 Touring Sedan (Model 41). This is a beautiful black unrestored car with only 44,779 original miles. The paint appears to be all original with some areas showing its age. The car has original drive train and the original owner had the engine rebuilt in 2003 and installed hardened valve seats because he was concerned with running unleaded fuel in the car. The engine cost was $7,800 (have all receipts). The steering wheel was recast in 1999 by JB Donaldson Co and is still in perfect condition. The brakes have been gone through, ires are in great shape and gas tank was redone by Gas Tank Renu which included a rebuilt fuel sender. It has always been stored inside and never driven in the rain. This pre-war classic is a classy and elegant car that would be very desirable for someone who would like an original car for a good driver or minor restoration.
