1979 Buick Skylark, Excellent Condition! Rare Car!

1979 Buick Skylark

• Brown exterior / Tan interior
• 3.8L V6 Engine
• Automatic 350 transmission
• Original Condition other than aftermarket CD player
• 56K Original miles

I am the 3rd owner, he first owner had the vehicle until 2011 and sold it to someone on Fleming Island, lorida. The second owner had it for 2 years and drove it about 2k miles in that time. I purchased the vehicle in July of 2013 and had a lot of work done to the vehicle.Here is a list of work done since I have owned it (All done professionally by Southern Star Inc on Saint Simons Island)

• -New head on drivers side (overheated from coolant leak driving home after I bought it) Top end rebuilt, new valves
• -Completely new cooling system (Radiator, ater pump, hermostat, oses, luid)
• -Completely new brake system Front & Rear (Master cylinder, alipers, oses, ads, otors, rake shoes on rear)
• -Completely new ignition system (Distributor cap and rotor, lugs, ires, gnition module, gnition coil)
• -New Hankook tires
• -Carburetor rebuilt
• -Oil pan gasket
• -Potentiometer for instrument cluster (fixed illumination)

The car has been my daily driver for the two years I have owned it.I drive it to Jacksonville Florida often (over a dozen times) which is an hour south on I-95.I have taken it to Ocala Florida which is 3 hours south at least 6 times and I have never had any issues.

• The car starts and runs every time
• A/C and Heat both work great
• Manual locks and windows
• Interior is in GREAT shape
• Clean title

The car has a solid sound system installed in it

• Kenwood KDC-248U CD Player
• Renegade 850 S amplifier
• Bass power control knob under dashboard
• 2 12" Renegade subwoofers in vented box
• Speakers in front doors and rear deck (speakers in front doors have been fading in and out, ay have a loose connection. Rear speakers fill the car so I have not investigated)

*Only imperfections and damage to the vehicle are-The pillar posts on the interior between windows is somewhat scratched up, eeling as well as the rear deck from old age.-The left rear of the vehicle has some body damage by corner of bumper and rear quarter panel. Shown in pictures. Possibly rear ended at some point of time-Tires are wearing somewhat more on the outside, ehicle may need an alignment. Steering wheel is slightly tilted to the left, lthough when driving vehicle tracks straight ahead wether you hold the wheel or not.bobby_p314 (at) yahoo . com
