Beautiful example of the ‘60s businessman’s luxury sports car – the 1967 Riviera. This car is a pleasure to drive and looks great – great smooth cruiser with great handling and good power. It has been upgraded is a number of ways (see details below) to make it a great daily driver. I love it the way it is but it is not perfect: paint is faded and could use a respray dash is nice but a couple of small cracks in the pad; steering wheel has a couple of cracks also; the previous owner said that the bumpers were new but just recently I noticed an issue with some of the chrome in the front and back. Sold to me as a “GS” but I don’t think it actually was; however it came with the Star Wars air cleaner; I added a 3.42 posi rear gear and sway bars; as far as I know those were the material upgrades that made it a “GS” anyway. Has 400 turbo factory air (blows 47 degrees) power seats power brakes power windows. Work done by the prior owner and I: Complete motor rebuild Driveshaft rebuild Complete brake kit front and rear All new bushings front and rear tie rods ball joints Petronix electronic ignition Replaced sending unit in fuel tank New turn signal switch New windshield R134 A/C upgrade New heater core New water pump New timing cover New plug wires Rear end rebuilt/carrier replaced with Buick 3.42 posi New axle bearings and seals Quartz clock (keeps perfect time)
