Car description |
---|
I purchased this car 5 years ago with 25602 miles on the odometer from the original owner. It was purchased at Ken Pruitt Buick in Garland Texas when it was new and to my knowledge spent its life in Texas until I bought it. Its always been garage kept and hasn't been driven in rain. I have completedocumentation of the car from when it was purchased new and complete service records also from that time till now. The paperwork proves the car's history and care. The factory options include A01; tinted glassB48; trunk trim covering B93; door edge guards C04; 2 speed wipers c60; air conditioning D34; pass. side vanity mirror D35: body color mirrors G80; limited slip differential LC2; turbocharged V6 MX0; auto trans N33; tilt steering wheel TT5; halogen headlamps UM6; Delco-GM cassette stereo UW4; concert sound speaker system WF6; wide rocker molding package andY56; "T" package.I looked at several cars before I purchased this car and it was actually in better condition than I was led to believe. It'sasuper cleancar top and bottom! Ithas a mile long list of aftermarket goodies. They include fiberglass replacement bumper fillers ( original urethanebumper fillers are noted for being junk and fall apart) Bilstein shocks Kenne Bell ram air system upgraded fuel pump and fuel pump wiring kit from Poston adjustable fuel pump regulator adjustableturbocharger wastegate Duttwieller neck on the intercooler Alradco black powdercoated aluminum radiator Pypesstainless steel exhaust systemreplaced the failure prone power master brake system with a vacuum boosted brake system Art Carr shift improver kit Turbo Tweak computer chip and 42 1/2 lb. injectors voltage oil boost and coolant temp gauges that the factory never included Caspers cooling fan over ride switch Kirban's 3" stainless downpipe with cat converter test pipe 145 mph speedo conversion BF Goodrich Comp T/A's on the front - Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R's on the rear RJC power plate T/A Performance oil pump booster plate front driveshaft safety loop and I'm sure there are other things I've missed. Recently remove the complete rear end assembly and media blasted it. Thenhad them painted with Squeeg's Kustom epoxy suede automotive paint. It's an exceptionally clean car and always has had the best of care. I don't want to take anything on trade and am only selling it because I don't have the time to enjoy the car anymore. Will be happy to answer any questions or take additional photos and email them ASAP.

I forgot to mention in my original description that the car hasn't been smoked in and the interior is in excellent shape. Theinterior still smellsnew. The headliner had to be replaced years ago because the glue that holds the fabric on released. Anyone that knows anything about GM cars from the 80's can say that's a common issue no matter how wellthe car was taken care of. The headliner fabric is of the correct color and type. The paint is in excellent shape too for a GM car from that era. Because its single stage paint its not going to have the shine and depth that modern cars have today. There isn't any crows footing or peeling in the paint which again is a common issue with these cars from that era. I would give the paint a rating of8.5-9 out of 10 for factory paint. I mentioned earlier thatI replaced the radiator with one from Alradco. Istill have the original radiator in a box. I replaced it because it was showing some age and it was a good excuse to upgrade to a more efficient radiator. It had a couple of seeps but wasn't leaking bad enough that it was unusable. I still have the original down pipe and catalytic converter that goes with the car. Also there are 2 spareVector wheels of the same type that's on the car. They are in decent shape. The 3 ring binder shown in the picture of the trunk has all the original dealer paperwork and service records in it. Owners manual and window sticker are there too. Thanks.
